Firearms Safety Training
All interested youth 11 years old by the start date
This course includes all aspects of gun training, bow hunting, first aid and more. Minnesota Firearms Safety Certification will be issued upon successful completion of the course. A parent or guardian must attend the first class. Participants must attend all classes. This class is sponsored by the Carver County Sportsmen’s Club. Space is limited at 60 participants. Registration begins on Tuesday, January 21 at 7:30am in the Waconia Community Education office located at 516 Industrial Blvd. Parents/guardians MUST register in person, there is a specific DNR form that needs to be filled out and signed which cannot leave our office. Sorry, there are NO REFUNDS/CREDITS/Transfers once you register for this training.

Class at Bayview Cafeteria / Field Day at Carver County Sportsmen Club

$5 payable to Waconia Community Education at the time of registration. An additional payment of $7.50 will be collected by the Minnesota DNR
