Waconia Junior Marching Band & Color Guard Camp
Grades 6th-8th (2025-2026)
Do you love to play music and entertain audiences? Would you like to get a glimpse of what it’s like to be in the champion caliber WHS Marching Band? If your answer is “yes”, then this is the camp for you! Come to Junior Marching Band Camp - you will Spend 4 days in the sun with Waconia Marching Band members and staff. Prepare and perform an actual marching band show for family and friends. Learn musical and marching techniques, teamwork and the awesome benefits of working together! Students interested in Colorguard (think of the students in bright, colorful costumes spinning flags in a marching band!) are also able to participate!

Students should plan to bring their own instrument (Percussion instruments and Colorguard Equipment will be provided). When registering, list the instrument you play and your T-shirt size! Make sure you provide a current email address. To receive a camp T-shirt, you must register on time. The final performance will be on the Friday of camp at 12:30pm at WHS.
