Summer Math with Mr. O’Brien
Grades 5th-6th (2025-2026)
This class is designed to help students leaving grade 4 to prepare for 5th grade math, and for students leaving 5th grade to review concepts and skills taught during the school year. The class is a combination of classroom teacher-led learning and online learning. To get the maximum benefit for this course, students should expect to work on their own approximately 1 - 3 hours per week outside the in-class time. The classroom time is designed for students to receive individual and group help. Each week is a different topic (Multiplication, Algebra, Fractions, Decimals, etc.). We will have a 2 hour class with instruction for the week and then an at home assignment to complete on Schoology as they have time.
